The Simple Host was formed in mid 2008 by a handful of BSc Computing graduates who excelled in system design, programming, network infrastructures and security. We have the experience and know-how to provide support above par when compared to other web hosting companies. Whatever your problem, a member of our team will be capable of fixing it. We are dedicated to this company full time and are available 24/7 to provide you with the quality support that you would expect.

As a company, we firmly believe in not overselling our servers, this means the product you purchase will be provided as shown, there are no hidden clauses or catches. You will be able to use all of the resources allocated to your account at any point in time. Some of our customers migrated from their previous host as they had been misled into believing they would receive more than they could use in reality.

We currently utilise servers in Frankfurt, Germany on a 110GBit network spread over multiple providers. The providers are as follows:

Level 3: 2x 10 GBit
Global Crossings: 2x 10 GBit
LambdaNet: 2x 10 GBit
Deutsche Telekom: 2x 10 GBit
DE-CIX: 2x 10 GBit
ECIX: 10 GBit

If you’re looking to be placed on our shared or reseller environment, you are probably looking for a high-end service, that’s why we only use high-end servers. All our servers are a minimum of:

AMD/Intel Quad Core
4GB RAM
2 x 250GB in Raid-1 (mirrored)
100 MBit Connection

All of our servers have an onsite backup taken daily and an offsite-offline backup taken once a week, which can be restored at your request.¹

Dedicated servers are comprised using the highest quality hardware; we provided a number of products that we highly recommend. All of our servers come un-managed and with root access; this gives you total control of your server in a secure manor. Even though our servers come un-managed, we will be available for questions should you have any during your time as a client with us.

¹ Shared servers only. Dedicated users should have their own backup's in place.

Money-back Guarantee

At The Simple Host we offer a 15 day money back guarantee on all shared, reseller and VPS accounts. The only time we will not issue a refund is if you have broken our acceptable usage policy or our terms and conditions. For more information please refer to our legal section.

We understand that uptime is key to you, that is why it's taken very seriously here at The Simple Host, giving you, the customer, a 99.9% uptime guarantee. We have multiple monitors keeping track of our uptime and we get informed the second they stop working. Bellow is our current uptime statistics provided by siteuptime.com.
